Church News

Thanks for stopping by today. We just want you to know that God loves you, and so do we. God is faithful. Jesus told us that He would never leave us and that He would not forsake us. People break promises and contracts. God never has, and He never will.

The tendency of any fire is to go out. The same is true of our spiritual lives. The Apostle Paul tells us to “fan the flame of the gift that is within us.”

We have schedule a series of services to “fan the flame.” Join us as we listen to the anointed preaching of Paul Stetler. You will not be disappointed as he brings the Word to us.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆’𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲: 𝙍𝙚𝙛𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙂𝙤𝙙’𝙨 𝙃𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 Leviticus 11:44-45; I Peter 1:13-16: Hebrews 10:14

What is your reaction when you hear someone read from the Bible the Apostle Peter’s words when he writes, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘰𝘭𝘺 𝘖𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘣𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘺 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘰𝘳; 16 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯, “𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘺, 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘺. (I Peter 1:15-16)? Is it, “I can’t be holy like God.” “God is asking the impossible.” Is He?

Our reaction should be, “If God said do something, I need to do it.” God never has a never will asked us to do something that He will not enable us to do it.

Join us Sunday morning at 10:00am, 3940 Holly Hill Road, Lake Charles, LA as we look at reflecting God’s holiness to an unholy world. It is something He has commanded us to do. It is something He has commanded us to be.

Life together in Christ. That’s what church is all about. It is what the early church practiced. We find in Acts 2, the early church was daily in the temple, and enjoying fellowship from house to house.

We would love for you to be a part of our fellowship. Join us as we walk together in fellowship with Jesus Christ. The invitation that Moses made to his father-in-law is our invitation to you, “So it will be, if you go with us, that whatever good the Lord does for us, we will do for you.”

You are invited to attend our Sunday morning service this Sunday, August 9, at 10:00am as we pray over our students as they begin a new school year. We would love for you to bring your students so that together we can pray over them. We will be looking for you!

God created we humans in His image. When our first parents sinned in the Garden of Eden, that image was severely tarnished. However, the Father sent His Son, Jesus, to restore us to His image. He now expects us to reflect His image. Join us as we learn how to more effectively reflect the image of Christ.

As we approach the 250th birthday of our great country, let’s pray that as a nation we will return to God, and allow Him once more the place He occupied in the hearts of our countrymen.

1,993 years ago today, Jesus Christ rose from the dead. While many scoff in disbelief, there is more documented proof that Jesus rose from the dead than there is of other notable persons such as Aristotle, Plato, Ghandi and the like.

You ask a Christian how he or she knows Jesus is alive. He lives! Within my heart!

Good Friday. 1,993 years ago today Jesus was nailed to the cross. After hours of intense suffering, with His blood dripping to the ground, He cried, “It is finished.” And then He died. The blood that was required to be shed for the forgiveness of sins had been shed. Jesus will now be laid in a borrowed tomb. But, friend. This is not the end. Sunday is coming!

Mothers come in all shapes and sizes and personalities. There is no greater calling that a woman has than to be the mother God wants her to be to her children. Even ladies who do not have biological children can be a mother to those who through tragedy or wrong choices by their mother have lost their mother. The world and secular society often look down on motherhood. God looks at your position as a mother as one of the highest calling. God bless our godly mothers!
